कहते हैं लोग कि पहला प्यार कभी भूलता नहीं 

(it is said that people don’t forget their first love)

देखो दिलों में झाँख कर किस प्यार को हो तुम निभा रहे 

(look into your heart, which love are you cherishing today)

वोह जो हर सुबह होता है आँखों के सामने तुम्हारे 

(one that’s in front of your eyes every morning)

या वोह जो वक्त के गुज़रे पलों में ढूंढता है तुमको कहीं ।।

(or one that’s trying to haunt you down in the memory lanes)

जो मिल ना सका वोह लौट कर फिर आएगा कभी 

(lost love will come back again one day)

इस चाह को दी है दिल में कहीं पनाह 

(that’s hat you aspire deep in your heart)

पर हर वक़्त जो प्यार का कण कण है मिल रहा 

(but the love you get every moment right now)

वही जिंदगी के लम्हों में साथ निभाएगा अभी ।।

(that’s the love that will be by your side forever in life)

फिर क्यों ढूंढते हो उन पलों को जो हैं बदल चुके 

(then why do you keep looking for times that have changed)

क्यों हों उन किनारे जो सूखें से हैं अभी 

(why do you stay on the side that has dried of emotions)

प्यार रहता है बहुत ही करीब तुम्हारे 

(your love is sitting right next to you, close to you)

एक तलक देखो कि मंजिल पर हो  तुम अपनी पहुँच चुके ।।

(just look at it once and you’ll realize you have reached your destination)
